Waggles

We really don't "waggle" like the bees, but do get together on a monthly basis to discuss Association business and learn something about honeybees! Our meetings are open to everyone, so you do not have to be a member to attend, although you're welcome to join! Our typical agenda goes something like this...

6:30 - 6:45 -- Welcome, updates, calendar...usual kind of meeting stuff.

6:45 - 7:15 -- Education Time! Discussions include: what to be getting ready for; pests & vectors; basic beekeeping info; tips and techniques; etc.

7:15 - ? -- Social Time! We end the "formal part" with drinks (water/sodas) and snacks for some real "waggling"! Our goal is to have everyone out by 8, but once a beekeeper starts talking about bees there's no end! This may be where everyone learns the most and those getting started find a mentor or two.
